Candidates applying for this position possess: 

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience in HR.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in HR in a healthcare organization.
• Professional certificate in Human Resources field (PHR) preferred.
• Experience in HRIS, Applicant Tracking, and proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Primary Functions & Responsibilities:

1. Posting and advertising open positions and assisting in recruitment process. Checking applicant references and initiating needed paperwork.
2. Conducts research and collects statistical information for preparing and analyzing the information for use in drafting of new procedures and policies.
3. Maintains Applicant Tracking System.
4. Adopts and adapts to new technologies.
5. Responsible for assisting in the implementation of recruitment and retention under the direction of the Director of Human Resources
6. Collaborates with the clinical directors and patient care services directors to define current staffing recruitment needs for patient care for specific patient populations throughout Vinson Hall.
7. Schedules employment interviews with hiring manager.
8. Recruits, screens, interviews, and refers qualified applicants to the appropriate managers.
